What is Snap Kitchen?
Snap Kitchen, the Austin-based startup that calls itself the “one-stop healthy meal shop,” will be bringing their Brand Marketing Director to our upcoming AMA meeting on Tuesday, October 2nd to discuss consumer behavior! This company was founded in 2010 as a food retailer selling healthy prepared meals that can be delivered to your door or be picked up.
Snap Kitchen emphasizes catering to busy people who like to spend time being out enjoying daily life rather than being in the kitchen all day. Their shop designs make it easier to access a variety of meal solutions on the go. They offer a key solution for customers on the run!
Snap Kitchen opened its first store in the Triangle district back in 2010 and has been expanding ever since. As of this spring, they had 22 store locations in Austin, Houston, Dallas, Chicago and Philadelphia with over 700 employees! They have also gained a partnership with Austin-based Whole Foods Market, which hosts their kiosks at 5 of their locations.

What is Consumer Behavior?
Consumer behavior is the study of individuals and organizations and how they select and use products and services. People’s behaviors influence many marketing decisions and company strategies. Consumer behavior considers a broad array of elements including how consumers think and feel about different alternatives, how consumer behavior is influenced by their environment, how consumers reason and select between alternatives and so much more. The bottom line is to understand the personal, psychological and social factors to collect accurate consumer behavior data. The motivations that influence consumer behavior are so wide so a research mix including a variety of data will be the most robust.
